Founded as Westmar over 20 years ago, Peaceful Pines Living under new management was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to create a community where personalized care seamlessly blends with genuine friendship and support. What started as a passion for dignified, compassionate senior care has grown into a trusted sanctuary for families throughout the Selwyn and neighboring region.
Our philosophy centers on treating each resident as family, respecting their independence while providing the support they need to live their best life. Registered Nurse with over 15 years extensive experience in senior care, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of life for all our residents. Sumi has worked in senior roles over the years and has an expertise in compliance requirements and health informatics.
Iyjo Varghese
Director/Operations Manager
With a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering Iyjo comes with strong IT skills. Having worked in management positions in the NZ horticulture industry for the past 16 years, Iyjo brings strong financial, budgeting and HR skills with a genuine interest in ensuring quality care for our seniors.
